Computers
Desktop computers are available to Canberra Health Services staff, ACT Health Directorate staff, and students on placement. For ACT Government username and password enquiries, please contact Digital, Data and Technology Solutions (Shared Services ICT) on 02 6207 9000.
Printing, Copying and Scanning
Printing is available from any of the Library’s computers via the Follow Me service.
Non-standard printing, including large posters, specialty papers, canvas, stapled booklets and bulk printing, is available through Multimedia Services.
Device Charging
Power is available at many of the desks and throughout the Library for charging mobile devices.
Seating & Study Spaces
Individual and group study desks, as well as lounge areas, are available for research and study purposes.
Group Study Rooms
The Library's four group study rooms may be booked for individuals or groups of up to five people for study purposes only. The maximum time allocation is two hours per person per day. Book a study room online or contact the Library Service Desk for assistance.
Training Room
Access to the Library’s training room is available for Canberra Health Services and ACT Health Directorate staff. This room can be used without booking if not already in use. Please check the Library’s training calendar for availability.
Self-Loan Kiosk
Physical library items can be borrowed using the Library’s self-loan kiosk, located near the Library entrance.
Paging Phone
A dedicated room located next to the main entrance is available for paging phone calls. Clients are encouraged to consider others and use this room for calls.
Payment Facilities
Some Library services incur a charge or cost including:
- Replacement fees for lost or damaged items
- Multimedia printing and service fees
- Document Supply services.
The Library issues payment advice, which can be paid through the Canberra Hospital Cashier Office.
Return Chute
A return chute is available for physical Library items, and is located directly inside the Library on the right-hand side of the entrance.
North Canberra Hospital Library
Computers
Desktop computers are available to Canberra Health Services and ACT Health Directorate staff who have access to the North Canberra Hospital computer network.
