The Library's eResources are available to all eligible clients when logged into an ACT Government computer as well as remotely. For instructions on accessing resources from home, see Accessing eResources.
A Library account is required to borrow books and to access the Library’s Document Supply Service.
To join the Library, please complete the membership registration form below. The Library will contact you once your application is processed. To register for fee-based membership, please visit the Canberra Health Services Library during business hours.

Note: If you have not yet registered for multi-factor authentication, you will need to do so to activate or access your Library account remotely (e.g. from home). Visit multi-factor authentication (MFA) to register while on site, or contact Digital, Data and Technology Solutions (Shared Services) on 02 6207 9000 if registering from home.
Your OneID staff access card functions as your CHS Library card, both to access the Library buildings and for borrowing items from the physical collection.

The Library membership application process is currently being updated. Registering for membership will be unavailable from 5pm on 17 June until 5pm 24 June. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Important: All Canberra Health Services and ACT Health Directorate staff can access the Library’s full range of eResources onsite and remotely without needing to apply for membership. This includes access to the Library’s complete collection of online journals and articles, eBooks, databases and point of care products. See Accessing eResource Remotely for further information.
