Students have access to a comprehensive range of resources while on placement or employed at Canberra Health Services (CHS) or the ACT Health Directorate (ACTHD):

- Physical collections
- Specialty & Research Skills Guides.
In some instances, the Library may be required to limit or restrict student access to select resources depending on licensing.

Literature Searching
Students are encouraged to contact their education provider for assistance with literature searches for assignments. The Library supports the work of CHS and ACTHD and will offer enough support to get you started if your university assignment relates to your work at CHS or ACTHD.

Training & Workshops
Students can register for Training & Workshops, if required to support the work of CHS or ACTHD. For training to assist with your university work, students are encouraged to contact their university library.
Document Supply Service
Students should obtain material not available through CHS Library from their respective education provider's library:

- University of Canberra | Catalogue
- University of Wollongong | Catalogue
If the required material is not available through your education provider, a copy can be requested through the Document Supply Service provided by
the CHS Library if it relates to your work at CHS or ACTHD.

Multimedia Services
Students have full access to all Multimedia Services provided by the Library, including graphic design, printing, binding, laminating and digital scanning.
Group Study Rooms
The Library provides four group study rooms for CHS and ACTHD staff and students. Study rooms may be booked for individuals or groups for study purposes only. The maximum time allocation is two hours per person per day. Book a study room online using your act.gov.au or education provider email address. Alternatively, contact the Library Service Desk for assistance.
Printing, Copying and Scanning
Printing is available from any of the Library’s computers via the Follow Me service. Non-standard printing including large posters, specialty papers, canvas, stapled booklets and bulk printing is available through Multimedia Services.
Library Spaces & Facilities
Students with a OneID access card can enter the Library and access the following facilities 24 hours a day (including weekends and public holidays). Please contact Security for assistance with building access. It is a condition of entering the Library that you agree to the Library’s Terms of Use.
