Copyright & Licensing

Library users need to comply with copyright legislative requirements and must not copy, print, scan, download or record library material in any manner that infringes the Copyright Act 1968 (Commonwealth).

Information on copyright is available from the Australian Copyright Council. For further advice, please contact the Library Director.

Licensing

Access to the Library’s eResources, databases and clinical tools is governed by individual licence agreements between the Library and resource providers. The licence terms and conditions specify eligible users and usage of material.

Most licensed resources subscribed to by the Library are restricted to Canberra Health Services and ACT Health Directorate staff. Eligible Library users with access to licensed resources must comply with the licence conditions governing their use. Licensed resources may only be used for personal clinical, educational or research purposes and may not be used for any commercial purpose.
