About UpToDate Lexidrug
UpToDate Lexidrug, formerly known as Lexicomp, is an evidence-based drug reference tool that helps pharmacists and clinicians make informed decisions about prescribing, dosing, and administration. It includes tools like Trissel’s IV Compatibility, Drug Identification, Drug Interactions, Drug Comparison, Adverse Drug Reactions, Material Safety Data Sheets, and multilingual Patient Education Materials, collectively supporting the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
How to Access
Lexidrug is available online and through the Lexidrug mobile app.
Always use the Library's website links for seamless resource access. On personal devices, you may need to confirm your affiliation with CHS or HCSD using your work email address and password.

Mobile App
The Lexidrug mobile app provides comprehensive medicines information and interaction details, ensuring convenient access to essential pharmaceutical insights at the point of care.

Note: Up to 3.0GB of available space is required to install the Lexidrug mobile app and all available content.
Up to 2 devices can be registered to your Lexidrug account. A device is registered to your Lexidrug account when you first sign into the mobile app.
If you try to register a third device, you will get a registration error message saying you have reached the device limit for your account. Selecting Register This Device will deactivate all devices on your account and register the current device. You will then need to sign into the app again on a second device if needed.
The Lexidrug subscription code associated with your personal account needs to be renewed annually. To update your account's subscription code:
- Visit Access Your Lexidrug App
- Select relevant platform
- Select Existing under customer options
- Follow the displayed instructions.
To set automatic content update preferences on the app:
- Open the Lexidrug app
- Tap menu (☰), then select Preferences
- Select Settings
- Tap Auto-Updates and select preferred network option.
