Research highlights the impacts of physical, verbal, and written aggression, as well as the psychological effect of witnessing violence. Informed practice emphasises the importance of consistent reporting, de‑escalation strategies, and timely support services. Applying evidence-based approaches can prevent harm and strengthen staff capability. Aggression or violence, it’s not part of the job.

Important eResource update: EBSCO databases

The migration to EBSCO’s new user interface (UI) will take place on Monday, 2 February. Once the migration occurs, the classic UI will no longer be available. This is a significant change to the look and feel of EBSCO databases. To get you started on using the new UI, this Quick Start Guide may be useful. You can also make an appointment with our Library team to receive extra support.
